In 2009, Chef Shawn Monroe partnered with Neill Reagan to create San Antonio's premiere full service catering and food service business.
Chef Monroe came to Signature Catering from Cornell University, where he was a faculty member and Chef de Cuisine for the School of Hotel Management. He is an artist that works to create an experience that is beautiful, tasteful and unforgettable. While working at Cornell University, Chef Monroe was able to work with a number of celebrity chefs, such as: Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck, Daniel Boulud and Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto.
Neill Reagan moved to San Antonio from New York City in 1996 to open O'Neill's Irish House, an Irish pub and restaurant. Seeing a need for New York style catering, Reagan expanded his vision and started a San Antonio based Catering company O'Neill's Catering. In 2000, the restaurant and bar was sold in order to concentrate on the catering portion of the company.
Chef Monroe and Mr. Reagan partnered to start Signature Catering. Their explosive growth can only be explained by their shared goal of providing catering and food service options that are second to none in terms of quality and creativity.
